Membership in Barley & Font tables is free. Local tables may collect for food, venue, and books. We use affiliate links on the site and in email, and we do not sell member or visitor information.

Barley & Font does not charge a fee to belong to our tables. Membership in the club itself is free. Joining a table, starting a table, or participating as a Solitary Pint does not require paying Barley & Font a membership or dues fee.
Local tables may charge fees to cover shared costs such as food, venue reservations, books, and other meeting expenses. Those amounts are set and collected by the local table for local use — not by Barley & Font as a club-wide membership fee. If your table collects for dinner, room rental, or reading materials, that is a table-level arrangement between members.
We do have affiliate marketing opportunities throughout the website and in email correspondence. Links to books, jackets, merchandise, or related products may be affiliate links. If you purchase through those links, Barley & Font may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not change our recommendations or club standards.
